Chocolate-Covered Strawberries is the perfect recipe to make with kids or to surprise last-minute guests.

Is as simple it seems – “take the strawberry and dip in chocolate-. No secrets!

The ingredients you use is what makes a simple strawberries dessert become an exotic splendour strawberries dessert.

We recommend you to use our 80% Dark Chocolate and pick up some ripe strawberries for a better contrast of flavours.


The key to having a perfect coverage is to make sure the strawberry is very dry. If the strawberry has any water from rinsing or any sticky areas the chocolate won’t stick to the fruit.

After rinsing the strawberries use a clean towel to pat them until they are completely dry.



1 pint-basket fresh strawberries (1 pound)

2 cups 80% dark chocolate chips or chopped chocolate


1-Wash and dry the strawberries. Rinse it under cold running water and gently pat to dry.

2-Melt the dark chocolate. Fill the bottom of a pot with some water and bring to a simmer over high heat.

When the water is boiling set a heatproof bowl on the water and let the chocolate melt.

3- Dip the strawberries. Pick up the fruit by the top leaves and dip it into the chocolate.

4-Let the chocolate dry. Leave the strawberries on the baking sheet and repeat with the rest.

5-Wait until is ready. You can leave it on the sheet or put it inside the fridge.  Make sure the chocolate coating is dry to the touch before serving.
