Your order will leave our factory in Vancouver when its status change from Processing to Complete. At this time, you should receive another confirmation email with tracking information.

We ship exclusively to Canada and the US. Please see our shipping & return page for more information.
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer multiple addresses shipping through our website. If you want to send to more than one person, please get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 604.879.77.82. We will do our best to accommodate your request.
It will vary depending on your shipping address and shipping option.
All our online orders are processed and shipped within two business days from our Factory in Vancouver. Once shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. You can use this tracking number on our carrier website to know the expected delivery time.

Yes, please select our pickup option during checkout. You will receive a pickup notification email when your order is ready for you at our factory store located at 88 East 7th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V5T 1M2.
Please note that our factory store is our only pick up location. Pickup in other stores is not possible; thank you for your understanding.
If you want to edit or cancel your order, contact us as soon as possible at 604.879.7782 or email@example.com.
Note that we cannot accept any request for change or cancellation once the order leaves our factory.
With pickup orders, we accept cancellation requests and offer a full refund as long as we receive the cancelled request within ten business days of the pickup notification. After ten business days, if we didn’t hear from you, the order will automatically be cancelled without a refund.
Be patient; there are multiple reasons why your order might take more days to arrive. Here are some important things to know while waiting for your package:
- We invite you to check out our shipping & return page before ordering to see our shipping time.
- You can verify the status of your order using our convenient order lookup page.
- If the status shows Complete, it means that your order left our factory and is with our carrier. All our carriers have their own tracking system, please refer to your shipping notification email to know how to track your package.
- If the carrier website shows your package as delivered and you still haven’t received your order. Please get in touch with them directly.
Daniel Chocolates does not accept returns or exchanges due to food safety. All online sales are final.

You can find our chocolates in many small retailers, gift and flower shops as well. Please check our find a store page for more details.
All of our chocolates have been manufactured in Vancouver, British Columbia, since 1981. Our factory, located in the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood, supplies our retail stores, clients, and many fine retailers and hotels across Canada.
We do not offer factory tour but we invite you to visit our store located in the same address on 88 East 7th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V5T 1M2. Who knows, you might even be able to meet Daniel himself!
Daniel uses only pure natural ingredients! Our chocolates but also our whipping cream, butter, herbs and spices used for our fillings are all-natural. We are proud not to use any preservative, artificial colourings and flavours, hydrogenated, vegetable, and tropical fats.
We have also worked hard on reducing the amount of sugar in our chocolate by adding more cocoa mass to it. The result is a perfectly balanced chocolate – nor too bitter, nor too sweet – that you will love and love again
In general, chocolates do not like humidity, direct sunlight or heat. It is best to store your chocolates in a dry, dark and cool place.
Our chocolates will stay fresh-tasting for up to 8 weeks from the time of purchase. Make sure to keep them in a cool, dry and dark place. For plain solid chocolates, they can last for up to a year if stored in good home kitchen conditions.
We do not use wheat ingredients except in chocolates with obvious wheat products like our chocolate-covered pretzels. Note that we do not use these types of products in our assorted chocolate boxes.
Just a few of our products are dairy-free; our solid dark chocolate, cherry in Kirsh, chocolate-covered ginger and orange peels.
Some of our chocolates contain nuts. It is the case for:
- All the products using praline (includes the entire hedgehog collection)
- All the products using peanut butter
- All products with obvious nut content (like our pecan caramel or any nuts mix)
